More than pointing cameras at a stage

A live programme viewers can follow, understand and trust.

Live production brings every part of an event together in real time. Cameras, microphones, presentations, videos, remote speakers, titles and audience reactions must arrive at the right moment—while the programme continues without a second take.

Our work begins with the purpose of the broadcast. We identify who is watching, where they will watch, what they need to see and hear, and what the organisation needs after the event. That informs the camera plan, sound inputs, graphics, recording, crew structure and streaming workflow.

The result is not simply an internet feed. It is a managed live experience that represents your organisation professionally in the room and online.

Live production services

One accountable team across the complete signal path.

Select a focused livestream crew or ask Praxis to coordinate the complete technical production around your programme.

01

Multi-camera live production

Camera positions are planned around the stage, speakers, demonstrations and audience. A director selects the right view in real time to create a coherent programme rather than disconnected camera coverage.

02

Professional livestreaming

The finished programme can be encoded and delivered to YouTube, Facebook, a webinar platform or another approved destination, with access and privacy configured before the event.

03

Hybrid event production

Remote speakers and viewers can participate alongside the physical audience. We plan contribution links, return feeds, presentation sharing, audio routing and rehearsals to reduce awkward handovers.

04

Live graphics and playback

Speaker names, agenda cards, sponsor messages, presentation material, pre-recorded videos and other approved visuals are prepared and introduced as part of the live programme.

05

Audio integration

Clear speech is fundamental. We coordinate with the event sound team or design the required audio workflow so microphones, videos, remote guests and programme sound reach both the room and online audience correctly.

06

Recording and repurposing

The live programme can be recorded, with isolated sources where appropriate. After the event, this material can become a clean replay, highlights, session videos, interviews and social cuts.

07

Webinars and virtual broadcasts

For leadership briefings, training, panels and product demonstrations, we create a controlled virtual programme with branded visuals, managed speakers and professional recording.

08

Technical production support

Where the brief extends beyond streaming, Praxis can coordinate cameras with sound, lighting, screens, presentation playback, staging and venue suppliers under one production plan.

Designed around the programme

The right setup depends on what must happen live.

A keynote, panel discussion, worship service and product demonstration do not need the same production. We study the run of show and design coverage around its most important moments.

  • Stage layout and camera sightlines
  • Speaker, panel and audience microphone sources
  • Presentation and video playback requirements
  • Remote contributor and confidence-monitor needs
  • Platform access, privacy and audience destination
  • Recording, editing and archive requirements

Our production workflow

Reliability is created before “go live.”

Every job is adapted to the event, but these checkpoints protect the production from avoidable surprises.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We confirm the objective, audience, programme, venue, platforms, stakeholders, budget range and required outputs.

  2. 02

    Technical design

We develop the camera, sound, graphics, connectivity, recording and crew plan. Complex events may require a site survey.

  3. 03

    Content preparation

Logos, titles, speaker names, presentations, playback videos and platform access are collected, checked and organised.

  4. 04

    Setup and testing

Equipment is installed, signals are checked, streaming destinations are tested and important programme transitions are rehearsed.

  5. 05

    Live direction

The producer and technical crew manage cameras, sound, graphics, playback, remote speakers, recording and stream health while the event runs.

  6. 06

    Delivery and review

Recordings are secured and agreed post-event assets are prepared, reviewed and delivered in the required formats.

Connectivity and resilience

Because “live” needs a fallback plan.

No responsible producer can promise that the internet or a third-party platform will never fail. What we can do is identify the risks, reduce single points of failure and agree on the recovery plan.

Venue assessment

We evaluate the available connection, physical production space, power, sound interfaces and cable routes.

Dedicated bandwidth

Where possible, the production uses a dedicated connection rather than competing with guest Wi-Fi and venue traffic.

Connection backup

A suitable secondary path can be included when the event, venue and budget require additional protection.

Local recording

The programme can continue to be captured locally even if an online platform or connection becomes unavailable.

Signal monitoring

The crew watches programme video, audio and stream health throughout the broadcast.

Clear escalation

Client and production decision-makers agree in advance how delays, platform restrictions or programme changes will be handled.

Technical capability

Tools selected for the event—not a one-size-fits-all kit.

The production may combine professional cameras, lenses, support systems, video switching, monitors, wireless video, audio interfaces, playback, graphics, encoders and local recording. The exact configuration is determined by the programme and venue.

Praxis maintains a wider equipment rental catalogue and production capability in Lagos. For live work, availability is reserved against the approved scope and supported by the appropriate operators and technicians.

Frequently asked questions

Planning a professional livestream in Lagos.

These answers cover common starting questions. Technical recommendations are confirmed after we understand the event.

How much does professional livestream production cost in Lagos?

The cost depends on the number of cameras, programme duration, crew, sound, graphics, streaming destinations, venue internet, logistics and whether screens or other AV services are required. Praxis Studios prepares a scoped quotation after reviewing the event brief and venue requirements.

Can you stream to YouTube, Facebook and other platforms at the same time?

Yes. A production can be configured for simultaneous delivery to approved platforms, subject to platform access, account permissions, internet capacity and the technical plan agreed before the event.

What internet speed is required for an event livestream?

The correct requirement depends on the chosen resolution, bitrate, number of outgoing feeds and redundancy plan. We assess stable upload performance rather than relying only on an advertised speed, and recommend a dedicated connection plus an appropriate backup.

Can remote speakers join a live event?

Yes. Remote contributors can be brought into the programme with a managed return feed, audio checks, holding room and technical rehearsal. Their contribution can be shown in the venue, included in the broadcast, or both.

Do you record the event as well as livestream it?

Recording can be included. Depending on the scope, we can create a programme recording and isolated camera recordings for later editing, highlights, presentations, interviews and social-media content.

Can the livestream be private or restricted?

Yes. Options may include an unlisted stream, a client-controlled platform, password-protected viewing or a private event environment. The suitable approach depends on audience size, access requirements and the selected platform.

What happens if the venue internet fails?

The risk is addressed during planning. Depending on the production, safeguards can include connection testing, dedicated bandwidth, a secondary connection, local programme recording and a recovery procedure agreed with the client.

How early should we book a live production crew?

For conferences and complex hybrid events, contact us as early as possible so there is time for a site survey, platform setup and rehearsal. Simpler productions may require less lead time, subject to crew and equipment availability.

Do you provide sound, lighting and screens?

Praxis can coordinate the wider technical production or work with the venue and its existing suppliers. Requirements for PA sound, stage lighting, LED screens, projection and presentation playback should be identified during discovery.

Do you provide live production outside Lagos?

Yes. Praxis Studios is based in Lagos and can support productions elsewhere in Nigeria. Travel, accommodation, logistics, connectivity and local venue requirements are assessed in the quotation.
